Precinct 8/Parkville Provides Extra Traffic Enforcement on Prom Night

Baltimore County, Md. (May 9, 2012) – On Saturday, May 12, the night of Parkville High School’s senior prom, Precinct 8/ Parkville will provide additional traffic enforcement.

The special traffic detail begins at 8 p.m. Saturday night and lasts until 3 a.m. Sunday. Seven officers and one sergeant will target all traffic violators including speeders, aggressive drivers and those driving under the influence (DUI).

The traffic detail will concentrate efforts along the streets and roads within Precinct 8/Parkville.

Parkville High School students will attend their senior prom Saturday night and Baltimore County Police will be on the road to make sure they have a safe trip to and from the prom and after-prom party.

A grant from the State Highway Administration (SHA) is funding the detail.
