Nick Vogt, a Baltimore native, brings a deep understanding of the local landscape and legal community to Rice Law. After graduating from Mount Saint Joseph High School, Nick pursued his undergraduate studies at the University of South Carolina before returning home to study at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law. During his time at Maryland Law, Nick served as the Vice President of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Team, a member of the Moot Court Board, an Articles Editor for the Journal of Business & Technology Law, and practiced as a Rule 19-217 Attorney in the Small Business & Community Equity Development Clinic.

Following law school, Nick clerked for the Honorable Gregory Sampson on the Baltimore City Circuit Court, gaining invaluable insight into the inner workings of the judiciary. After his clerkship, Nick joined a respected mid-sized local law firm, working in general casualty matters, professional liability defense, employment law defense and premises liability defense. Thereafter, Nick worked for years with a large national insurance company as an in-house trial attorney, gaining significant negotiation, courtroom and appellate experience defending personal injury claims. He brings this depth of experience to Rice Law, where Nick is a zealous advocate on behalf of injury victims.

Beyond his professional life, Nick is a proud resident of Baltimore City, enjoying life in Fells Point with his wife and their beloved golden retriever, Waffles.
