Rachel Morin Family Releases Commercial Plea from Patty Morin

Campaign targets Bel Air, MD, U.S.-Mexico border towns & previous crime scene neighborhoods in Los Angeles, CA

Press Release – Maryland – April 10, 2024 – Rice, Murtha, Psoras, in conjunction with the family of Rachel Morin, is releasing a poignant 30-second commercial featuring Patty Morin, mother of the late Rachel Morin. The commercial serves as both a tribute to Rachel’s memory and a heartfelt plea for justice.

In the emotional video, Patty Morin bravely addresses the public, recounting the tragic loss of her daughter, Rachel, who was brutally murdered while jogging on the Ma & Pa Trail in Bel Air, MD, on August 5, 2023. With raw emotion, Patty recounts how Rachel was brazenly targeted in a public place in broad daylight. She also reminds viewers that Rachel was a devoted mother to five children.

In a strategic effort to reach a broad audience, the commercial will be launched on social media platforms in Bel Air, MD, Los Angeles, CA, and border towns along the US-Mexico border. Morin Family attorney Randolph Rice expressed hope that the commercial will reach someone who has not yet seen the sketch or doorbell camera video in the hopes of finally bringing Rachel Morin’s killer to justice.

The commercial showcases images of Rachel, a sketch of the suspected perpetrator, and video doorbell footage relevant to the case. Throughout the video, Patty appeals directly to the community, urging anyone with information about Rachel’s killer to come forward. She emphasizes the potential danger posed by the repeat predator, stating, “If he is willing to kill a perfect stranger, he is willing to kill anybody.”

The commercial concludes with a plea from attorney Randolph Rice, who encourages viewers to visit the firm’s website, https://ricelawmd.com/reward/ where a reward of $35,000 is offered for information leading to the capture and conviction of Rachel’s killer. “We are hopeful that this commercial will reach someone who may have crucial information about Rachel’s murder. Every piece of information, no matter how small, could be the key to solving this case and bringing answers to Rachel’s family,” stated Attorney Randolph Rice.
