Law Firm Engages Los Angeles High Schools Hoping Former Teachers, Staff, or Students Can Identify Rachel Morin’s Killer
Los Angeles, CA — November 20, 2023 — Rice, Murtha, Psoras, the law firm representing the family of Rachel Morin, has taken another proactive step in the ongoing pursuit of identifying and catching her killer.
The law firm has sent a heartfelt and personalized letter (see below) along with Reward Flyers (see below) to the principals of five high schools near the crime scene in Los Angeles, CA, where Rachel’s killer was captured on a doorbell camera.
Accompanying the letter to each school’s principal are hundreds of copies of the Reward Flyer printed in English and Spanish.
The letters and flyers are being sent to the following High Schools:
- John C. Fremont High School;
- Dr. Maya Angelou Community Senior High;
- Augustus F. Hawkins High School;
- Mervyn M. Dymally High School; and
- South East High School.
Rachel’s killer, identified through DNA evidence as the same individual involved in a March 2023 home invasion and sexual assault in Los Angeles, CA, remains unidentified by law enforcement.
Attorney Randolph Rice, “We know the suspect is approximately 20-30 years old, and he may have attended high school around the crime scene in Los Angeles. We are hopeful a former teacher, staff, or student recognizes the image and can identify the man.”
Rachel’s family and the team at Rice, Murtha, Psoras extend gratitude for any cooperation and support from the schools involved in this endeavor. “Any information that could assist in identifying the perpetrator is encouraged and appreciated,” concluded Randolph Rice.
